We are seeking an experienced and proactive Student Employability Adviser. As an integral member of the Student Employability Team within Employability and Enterprise (E&E), the Student Employability Adviser will plan, develop and deliver effective and efficient student-facing employability services.

The team oversees a range of student employability projects including: daily drop-in advice, weekly workshops, “on-campus” student recruitment, professional and student peer mentoring activities, placement resources and support. For example, the popular mentoring schemes involve the Student Employability Adviser in recruiting and training both industry professionals, recent graduates and student peer mentors for a range of exciting initiatives.

Furthermore the team develops content for portal and social media promotion of advice services, workshops and the full range of employment opportunities; placements, graduate work, internships, “on-campus” student recruitment and volunteering.

Employability Advisers undertake the range of responsibilities outlined in this Job Profile and each post may have responsibility for delivering specific projects.
